Where can I begin? This is my first official blog post of 2020 and it took the Corona Virus to come through and slow things down here so I can actually take some time to blog and I am feeling so good about this one I am sharing with you all today.

As photographers, it takes a while to figure out what our niche is. There are all sorts of photography work but when you dive into what you love and polish it and practice over and over (and over) again you learn to figure out what makes your heart BURST with emotions. This is it for me! Lifestyle Family Photography. I believe in family and I am a lover of all things glowy, authentic, and neutral. This session was that and more!

This sunrise session was captured at Dubois Park in Jupiter, FL for a family who had booked me from January. Mom and I constantly spoke about the vision and idea for this shoot over voice memos on Instagram and email. She is beyond obsessed with these images (so am I) and wants to create a yearly tradition in doing a family session. This family from Miami made a staycation out of this experience by staying a night in Jupiter and doing this sunrise session the next following day. They made an EXPERIENCE out of it and had the best time. One of my favorite moments was mom laying with her two littles on her baby’s receiving blanket from, Spearmint Love, which gave such beautiful POP of color and texture! Their little girl just turned ONE and this blog post is in her honor to celebrate her big day!
