Florida Photography Retreat – Joie Inn, Anna Maria Island, FL
I’m still on cloud nine after our very first Storyhood Co. Retreat. This Florida Photography Retreat was hosted in Anna Maria Island at the Joie Inn. When I got home, my inbox was full of the sweetest messages from so many of you saying, “I wish I could have been there!” That’s exactly why I wanted to take a moment to share a little recap with you, so you can get a glimpse of the heart behind it all and what made it so special.
When everyone arrived at the incredible Joie Inn, they were greeted with charcuterie boards and coconuts (a sweet treat sponsored by Showit!), along with goodie bags filled with Storyhood Co. merch, NFC keychains by Casa Viera (linked to each girl’s IG profile—so fun!), and other little surprises.
From there, the magic just kept unfolding. Although the purpose of the retreat was to recharge, rest and fill our creative cups, we still made space to learn and create. This Florida Photography Retreat included two styled sessions—a dreamy newborn shoot and a beautiful family session—that gave us so much inspiration (and let’s be honest, the perfect content). Since The Joie Inn is only 90 steps from the beach, we soaked it all in with morning worship by the water, bike rides, walks, and plenty of time to just breathe and rest.
One of the highlights? Our content scavenger hunt. The girls left with tons of content for reels and the most beautiful headshots, I mean, could you ask for a better backdrop than Anna Maria Island?
We also welcomed guest speakers who poured into us with wisdom on client experience, marketing, and styling. Every detail felt intentional, every moment was rich with community, and it was so clear that God’s hand was in it all. He even held back the clouds and gave us the most beautiful weather the entire week.
It truly felt like sisterhood, full of connection, laughter, learning, and a whole lot of heart.

The Storyhood Co. is intentionally a closed community, the only ways to join are by either:
1. Completing a 3-month mentorship program with me, or
2. Attending one of my HOME Workshops.
I set it up this way on purpose. I want every woman inside this community to have already walked through mentorship or a workshop experience with me. That way, when you step into the group, you’re not starting from scratch, you’re continuing the journey in a space where you can keep flourishing, surrounded by women who truly get it.
This structure ensures that when you’re inside The Storyhood Co., you’re already seeing meaningful, positive shifts in both your business and your life… and now you get to walk it out with a sisterhood right by your side.
